Default Need help with colors when using a stamp

I've purchased a few brass stamps (see photo) but am having a hard time finding the color(s) of glass that allows the stamp to show up. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions I might try that would allow the pattern to be more visible? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've used DH reduction glasses with them and the design shows up nice. I'll check if I have any pictures when I get home to post.

I think a lot of people use enamel's/powder to bring out the design.

Using two color layering comes to my mind.

Also reducing colors could be used and just brush the surface of the coil impression with a reducing flame.

Just a thought.
My reducing skills are not that good / predictable yet.

Sorry pics aren't very good. I have the Rick rack and spiral stamps. The spiral was done DH Helios I didn't keep it warm enough it broke. You can see the design but not the irridescent. I think the other 2 are in triton.

I also used the rickrack for the bottoms of flip flops. I used goldstone stringer on the Christmas spiral bead.

I did one with arke and stamped a small seashell, I'm still looking for that bead.

Found a different arke one the square bead is the one done with arke. One side really shows the iridescence , the other shows the webbing. Both show the design nicely.

Etching will also reveal the texture of a stamp.

I like to stamp, then gently reheat and press into enamel. I prefer reduction glasses as a shiny "top coat".

WOW Shelley ... those are gorgeous! Looks like reduction glass is the way to go. I wanted to use silver foil but the design just doesn't show up that well. Love your stars!!

Thank you!! You can use silver foil, this bead is black, with foil, encased in a clio prototype, reduced, and encased in clear.

And Perlenpresse makes great products at a fraction of the price as others I've seen. Their presses are much cheaper.

The more busy the background, the less the stamp design will show. That can be ok too.
