Best color romances--glass pairs that belong together...
When someone mentions "great romances," each of us can name favorite couples from history, folklore, literature, stage, film, and television. Some relationships were/are legendary for their longevity, some for unrelenting pursuit of romance, and some for dramatic, "colorful," or even tragic circumstances.
(Think of Antony and Cleopatra, Napolean and Josephine, Lancelot and Guinevere, Victoria and Albert, Romeo and Juliet, Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler, Bonnie and Clyde, Ennis Del Mar and Jack Twist, Bogey and Bacall)
I bet you've noticed that there are also "glass couples" that have a serious sympatico. You know, two glass colors that simply create magic when they dance together?
Just wondering, what are your favorite "glass color romances?"
For example, a base of Canyon De Chelly with Turquoise Light stringer or dots. It's a great combination. Etching adds to the drama. It's just a sturdy duo. I think of Clark Kent and Lois Lane...

Effetre Neptune and CIM kryptonite and a little bit of clear. Not exactly a duo but awesome. I also like Leaky Pen and Neptune. I like Leaky Pen and Dirty Martini. Blueberry Marble and CIM Plum are also an awesome combo. I can think of tons more.
Can anyone explain how to insert a picture into a post?

If you have them stored online somewhere you can post the code for there, or you can upload them here.
One way:
Click on Post Reply, which will give you the advanced message box, or type in the box already there after clicking "Go Advanced" beneath it.
Then to the right you will see a box saying "Image Uploader"
First make sure your images are resized small enough, then click to browse & find them. Choose the image, then click "upload".
After they appear in the list below, click on the image number to the far right of your image.
They will then appear in your message wherever the number is. So you can put a description above or below for example, should you chose.
Oh, you can hit preview to see how they will look before posting if you'd like.

Thanks a bunch for explaining that. I've been wondering about that for years. This is my favorite bead I've made that uses Kryptonite and Neptune together.

I probably have some old pics around somewhere. If not, I'll do something tonight. Raku really pops with Uroboros base colors. It looks great on the Cherry Red Opal, too.

EDP with Effetre white dots, because I get a kick out of the tiny clearish dots in the center of the white.
Copper green and cobalt lapis
Rubino over ivory, with or without silver leaf
Ivory and turquoise blue
Ivory and copper green (yeah, I'm a sucker for those black lines LOL)
Transparent teal and transparent medium amethyst. My favorite pairing over white, over clear, as a 2-sided twistie, etc.
Transparent emerald green and transparent cobalt blue (see above)
Coral and black (classic art deco)

Yup! If you work it cool, you'll get pools of silver under the rubino. If you work it hot, the rubino reacts to make a lovely carnelian color and the ivory will turn mossy green around the edges.
