Default camera help please ?

Hey everyone,
I've got my eye on a couple of cameras, a Nikon coolpix 5000 and a 5700.
Just wondering if anyone is familiar with these models and how good they are for taking bead pics ?

Thanks.

Nikons, IMO, are the best! I have the Coolpix L4 which cost me $149 at Bestbuy.com. I see that you are in Australia. Where are you planning to buy yours? Online or local?

The L5 is 5 megapixels, and costs a little more. These are the newer model cameras and they are half the size and cost half as much as the 4300 - 5700 series. Mine's the size of a cigarette pack. Four or five megapixels is more than enough for taking good pics.

Thanks Lisi,
The 5700 belongs to a friend of the family and the others are on the bay.
I've only just started looking so I've made a note of the other models you mentioned and I'll keep an eye out for those as well.

Thanks again.
