Awesome job on both! Maybe a bit larger on the flower but beautifully done and it gives me a great idea

I am loving that elephant! Nice job!

The silver and glass butterfly is awesome too!

Thanks for the positive feedback on the vessels. I like them too and plan on doing more in this style for galleries. I know the price is up there on my site, but if anybody here would want one, just PM me for a LE friend deal...

FAB Boro porn! What a great showcase - I love ALL your work!

FYI - for those having problems taking pics of boro.
Best advice I can give you is to:
1-wait for a nice overcast day.
2-Then, take your boro outside and just pose it up against a rock
or something.
3-Turn OFF your flash
4-make sure that the macro button is ON on your camera.
5- Use a tripod to keep the camera steady.

Here's my pic done this way:

Umm... okay. Not sure what difference that makes, but I'll keep it in mind for next time...

It might not be broken for you on your browser and screen but for many of us... it makes the screen wider than one monitor can hold... and I'm on a widescreen monitor. I posted a fixed version but for some reason it's not showing up.

PS: Can you please edit your post and add the enter keystrokes between the images now?

Weird. No problem on either of my computers on either Firefox or Safari. Must be an IE thing. Or maybe a PC thing. Yet another reason I hate Microsoft...

Thanks. I usually don't do them outside since I usually don't get around to taking pictures until midnight or so, but I was off work yesterday, and it just happened to be a nice day. For once, not so hot that you start sweating as soon as you step outside. So, I figured I'd give it a shot. Now, the next time I get ready to take pictures it will probably be raining, so who knows...

That's probably just his left-overs from Beadfest.

Most of them are. A few are new since I got back though. Been off work with a toothache (have to have a root canal in a couple days) so I've been on the torch to keep my mind off of the pain...

Wow, that sucks. I've had a few of those myself. Hope yours goes well. It's mainly the thought of what they're doing that is so nerve wracking. I think you can get a discount if you do it without numbing. Good Luck and let me know when you feel up to having us come over and swap that tank and torch.
