Default Oxycon Experts Needed

I'm having problems with my oxycon, anyone with invacare 5lpm unit knowledge I could really use your help! I'm hoping that appealing to the greater conscious of the LE family will help me get my machine to stay running. Thanks everyone.

First check the symptoms against the troubleshooting guide that is published in the service manual. i.e. there are a number of threads that discuss concentrator issues with some providing a link to a source for several service manuals.

Even if the 'exact' manual is not available the machines are similar enough to get a general idea of what is not working correctly.

I took the cover off machine and it was serviced 10 hours ago but it's at for a few years, im guessing. before I never got any beeps it just started up and ran fine, then it was starting up and then compressor shutting off with one loud long beep with no light flashes.
now its doing the three beeps at startup saying system okay running for 30 seconds and then the compressor shutting off again with 1 continues beep and no light flashes.

Please help

So it sat for a few years after being serviced.
How long have you had it?
Where did you purchase it?

I had it for a few months I traded. a guy who said it was his late father's. it has 10 hours on it since the 2009 service sticker with a nearly new filter. before it shuts off it sounds like its running fine

Someone gave me one that is doing the exact same thing, so I'm going to eavesdrop.

Sounds like it needs a service call. If it was sitting, the sieve beds may need repoured or something, especially if it was sitting somewhere that wasn't air conditioned.

The sieve beds are the expensive part to replace if they are bad. Not to say it is not worth the cost to make the repair. If the machine is not making any loud noises when it runs then I would invest in the repair.

Maybe it's not the same problem, I see now you say it stops pumping oxy, mine still does while it's doing the long beep.

This maybe sounds like what you are going through? http://lampworketc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37963

I have bought several concentrators from OxygenPlus. Call the man and see what he says.

Hope this helps,
