I've got some in the kiln.

I'm working on a series of them... transitional seasons or moods of the heart. There will be joyous ones, sad ones, guarded ones... and anything else I can think of to depict what our hearts feel as we live out these days.

Thanks Marcel... what are you up to?

I always love your hearts, Brent. Those have a sad air to them even if they are beautiful...almost like broken hearts. I think your concept of making moods of hearts is pretty neat. Dying to see the guarded hearts.

That bear rocks... Try a little thinner layer of AP if it's not that bright IRL. I get them that bright all the time. Just play with thickness of encasement layer.

Super cool dragonflies!

Smokin HOT! That's the key... leave that initial gather in the flame and let it get WHITE hot and soupy. Lot's of oxy too. Pinks will POP for sure then.

Default Some hearts from the kiln

Here a a couple of hearts that I worked on yesterday. The tails still give me some trouble, but they are so much fun to work on. Hopefully I will have some new glass waiting for me when I get home from work tomorrow!

The long pendant is very nice. The loop is well done and it looks nicely balanced. Mine never end up hanging nicely, which is probably why I don't do them more often. I bet this one well sell quickly for you.

Default Boro Hearts - Take 1

Here is my first attempt at making the boro heart pendants.

I love the colors and really cannot wait to try these again. I've got an idea to adjust how I'm making them a bit.

Let me know what you think!

I made this yesterday so I'll put it in the February thread too LOL

and this was my second flower implosion attempt since I got back to the torch a couple of weeks ago

Just received Mr Smiley's DVD today so I look forward to watching it and seeing how I can improve the techniques. Mine are taking over an hour a piece and that gives me arm and backache LOL
