Do you mean just a "teapot" shaped bead? Or do you mean an actual "vessel" (small/pendant or large/useful size)?

If you're talking beads, then check out this great press from Bavarian Beads: http://www.lampworketc.com/forums/sh....php?p=3132480

If you're speaking of a small pendant that is "3D", I'd recommend searching and learning about how to make small blown vessels. You can add a spout and handle - and even a lid to these.

If you're talking about a full sized, usable teapot - sorry, can't help 'ya!

Thanks De! I was thinking maybe not full size, but defintely functionable. What gets me is the spout and the lid. Everything else i can comprehend. As far fitting the lid to the pot, i am clueless!!

Have you thought of using "tube" as the spout?

Also, if you make the teapot first then anneal it and let it cool, you can take an accurate measurement of the opening to work the lid. I would create a LARGE Maria to start the lid, which you can measure fairly accurately -even cut a circle of cardboard that you can hold it close to to gauge your diameter size. It would probably be good to use a steel bowl (check Big Lots or, depending where you live, an Asian grocery for small Steel Bowls or dipping bowls in sets) to slightly dome the maria/lid over a bit if you want to give it a little curve. You can then add a small stringer "rim" on the underside of the maria; punty it and pull off the rod, leaving a small round atop as the lid handle.

At least if I were daring to give it a go, that's how I'd try it...

Her teapots are pate-de-verre (molten glass poured into a mold).

Pate de verre is made out of crushed glass actually. Put in a mold and into the kiln, and melt it there. Some pieces are melted just barely, so it still looks like crushed glass, or some are melted to form a solid surface...

No, the pots themselves are not, but the handles are. If I remember right...
