Default I'm almost done!

I'm so excited! I might even be able to torch tonight in my new setup!

I'll run off propane for a while, but will be using NG as soon as I can get the plumber back out.

I got my hothead set up and got to torch over the weekend. Ventilation works like a charm. Now I'm just waiting for the plumber to hook up my natural gas line. Woot!!!

The plumber is coming today to hook up the NG. Any tips or things to watch out for? I have an oxycon and a minor just waiting to be hooked up.

I'm not sure how the natural gas hookup comes into the house but if it like the propane I would just make sure the shut off/on valve is in a convenient spot that you won't be putting any furniture/shelving in front of. Good luck

I posted this in bathroom, but I'll post here too. I'd have two connects for the shut off, one in the studio close to where the torch connects to gass line. And one on the outside of the building. That way if there is a leak you can turn gas off coming into the studio.
Fireman friend suggested this to me when I had mine done yrs ago.
Keep fire extinguisher handy . You love the way gas makes for cleaner results.
Have fun and enjoy.
