Description: Learn about glass compatibility, firing and mold materials while making beautiful and functional art. Use frit, noodles, and stringers. Use etching cream and resist to make your own dichroic glass.
Sharon Moyer has been a stained glass artist for over 18 years, has owned her own glass supply store, and has worked with fused glass since 2005.

Description: Focus on skill enhancement for various levels of glass experience. Begin by creating tumblers, cylinders, bottles, and bowls as a point of departure, and expand forms and creations from there. See the techniques in a new light as instruction is personalized and detailed according to each participant’s skill level and desired outcomes.
Boyd Sugiki started working with glass at Punahou High School in Honolulu, Hawaii. He has taught extensively throughout the U.S. and internationally.

Hot Glass Techniques for Sculpture

Description: Focus on creating objects or parts in glass that can be used for sculpture. Work primarily in the hot glass studio, but some discussion and demonstration are directed toward coldworking and assemblage. Work in teams and explore possibilities through blowing, sculpting, and garage work/hot assemblage.
Hernandez has over 15 years of experience with glass, including working with blowing/sculpting, mold-making/casting, and mixed-media sculpture and installation. He has a BFA in Glass and an MFA in Sculptural/Dimensional Studies, and is currently an Instructor and Glass Studio Manager at Ball State University.

Description: This isn’t your everyday “Intro to Glassblowing Class." In this class you will learn, or relearn, the fundamentals of glassblowing, which will prepare you for intermediate or advanced classes. This class is for anyone who has never stepped into a glass class, as well as people that want to focus on the building blocks of glass. Instruction will be tailored to each participant's experience level and learning style as much as possible.
Andrew Najarian, current Artist-in-Residence in Glass at the Appalachian Center for Craft, has worked at the Corning Museum of Glass Studio, as well as Pilchuck Glass School. He learned glass cutting from the cutters at the Waterford Crystal Glass Factory. His work is exhibited nationally and internationally.
