Default Here's a tip for those in the Kansas City metro area...

If you live in the Kansas City metro area and you are looking for a supplier/source, I can highly recommend Airgas South on Foxridge Drive in KCK. Ask for Sam.

I have done business with Sam at Airgas for over three years. He genuinely cares about lampwork artists and wants to serve our needs. Sam has patiently walked me through torch set up, hose connections, tank purchase vs. lease decisions, mandrel making, and lots of other tasks. He is a gem of an employee. Keep in mind, Airgas mostly caters to welders and the construction trades--with a focus on safety. Yet, lampwork artists are made to feel just as welcome when they walk through the door. We need more friends like this.
