Default Can anyone suggest a website program?

I'd like to put together a website, but I am NOT tech-minded at all. Can anyone recommend a program that works well for people like me? Something very, very simple to use? Thanks!!

Steph

Hi, I am right in the middle of putting a website together...I do not even know how to cut and paste or do links and yet I am doing a great job with Bluehost.com

24/7 phone help or you can do the ticket thingy... they have been sooo helpful. The cost is very good and I got a domain name and no set up charges..lots and lots of goodies with this company plus they have been around a long time.

If I can do it ANYBODY CAN!!!

Thanks for the suggestions. It's going to be a little bit before I'm ready to take this step but I wanted to start checking out programs so I'd have some ideas before I got in too far.
These all sound promising!

Steph,

Many Web hosting companies have site builders or templates you can use to build your site. I prefer hosts that use cPanel and Fantastico for managing their domains, and there are several. So poke around on web hosting sites, many have demonstrations of their site building tools. Visit my second site, where I am putting up various site building tools. I just finished a section on setting up a shopping cart.

I've used www.sosimplewebsites.com They provide all the templates, can be customized, offer on-line shopping store options and their customer service/technical department are awesome!

I used to use Netscape Composer. It was simple, intuitive for the most part....then AOL ditched it.

After much anguished searching, I've found a nifty new program that's very similar, and simple, and inexpensive. ($50 for a lifetime of upgrades!)

Microsoft Office Live Small Business is a good site. You can have a free website for a period of time. They provide tutorials, etc to help you.
