Help with oxy concentrator please
I just purchased an Integra Regalia (the one that has the ball that moves up and down) and when I have the oxy up full blast, the ball is only at 6. Shouldn't it go up to 9 or 10? I'm not sure if it's working the way it should or if I got a lemon. Please help! Thanks.

In my experience, you want a pressure that is around 5 for a Minor Burner - but I think it really depends on what torch you have. My oxy only goes up to 5.

I have a Scorpion and it's connected to my inner fire. This has me perplexed! And before I send it back, I wish I knew what was "normal".

Ohhh, hmmmmm - I would think the pressure would be higher then, but don't quote me. Maybe ask the torch manufacturer? I know that's not much help.

Does it go all the way up when you disconnect it from the torch?

The torch manufacturer had me take the hose off and put my finger over the outgoing hole and it did go to 10. What does this mean?
I had a newer Regalia with the digital keypad and I swear it put out more oxy...just don't know how to prove it cuz the old one is in concentrator heaven. The torch manufacturer has been very nice...just wanted some second opinions.

It sounds like either the line from the concentrator to the torch might be kinked or blocked in some way, or the oxygen ports are clogged at the torch. Try cleaning the torch face, and the hose.
Good luck, it must be frustrating.

here is a link to a manual you can download. It tells you the specifications for the various models and some troubleshooting and maintenance items.

That's what I thought but there are no kinks in the line, I shortened the length of the line and sent my Scorpion to GTT to get it cleaned just in case.

Will the ball go to the 10 LPM mark if the hose is removed from the unit? i.e. no torch attached?
One can also check for error codes and see if there are any. See manual.
Also a pressure check can be done with an oxygen safe gauge to see if the output pressure is up to specifications. Also the compressor pressure. See manual.
One can also temporary remove the air input filter to see if there is any difference. A significant change may indicate a filter that needs to be replaced.
Contact SeQual for advise and see if they will offer any assistance.

that "gauge" is for adjusting the lpm (liters per minute) not the pressure.

My scorpion will only flow 7 lpm out of my 2 5 lpm machines on the inner fire. I have to leave the outer cracked if I want to see 10.

Well then maybe it's fine. I'm hooking up an EX20 for the outer fire next week and then I can steal oxy from that.
