Question How do I use my titanium pen?

Okay, I feel like a complete BOOB! How on earth do I use my titanium pen? Do I sign a bead then anneal it? I tried signing something but it rubbed right off so I know I'm doing it wrong - darn thing didn't come with instructions!... LOL

HELP!

Hi Amber,
I ordered one, too, but haven't received it yet. Here's a link to the FAQ page on website of the guy who makes them. I hope this helps. I haven't a clue beyond what's on his website. Good luck!!!

Hi Am,
I have one that Venessa made. You kind of have to break them in. Get a bead that you do not care about. Wet the tip of your pen - spit will do.
Then write on the bead.

It will work after a couple of tries and it shouldn't rub off. You should sign after you anneal the bead.

Good Luck!

Thanks Renee and MaryBeth! PHEW! Sounds good. I'll just have to play. Luckily, I have a few wonkies to play with!

And yes, I etch everything! LOL No seriously, it depends on the glass. The types of glass I use most love to be etched but I refrain from etching when necessary. It's hard though...
