Default oxycon problems

Hi all,

I have a really old oxycon, it's a MC 440 model.

Just lately, it works for about 5 seconds, then stops, but I can switch it on again immediately, and the cycle repeats.

It's also blowing out the fuse on the part where the power cord goes in- the 100 milliamp one.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

How many hours on it? Do you change/clean the filters? Is the machine stopping or is the oxygen output stopping? How old is your hose and are the fittings tight? Are you getting warning lights or buzzers that indicate low or no oxygen? Have you been running it wide open or at a reduced output?
