can someone tell me what the smallest dia. mandrels that are available and where?

I have not used them for glass work but hypodermic needle blanks or capillary tubeing is available on the small size is around 25 Guage up to 3 Guage.
If the medical industry uses strip and tube standards.
Guage sizes seam to vary 3 Guage looks to be around .25 the 25 Guage is around .0219

They tend to be supper thin, I have no idea how quickly they will fain in use.

I have them in 3/32", not terribly small, but thinner would be tricky!! Jeri

I tried some 1/8th inch tubing and could not get a bubble to blow, I don't think there is enough volume of air for the viscosity of the glass

I got some of the 3/32, have not had a chance to try them. They are small for sure. Just got them, so will give it a try as soon as I can.
