Default Vetrofond 406420

I was sorting my coral rods ... all unnumbered and found two distinct colors marked 406420. Bought it about 15 years ago. Thinking it is Vetrofond, but now sure.
Can you help?

There are a few different vetrofond coral colors that have the number 420. So vetrofond for sure. Maybe the 406 is a dealer's code?

Are you sure it's Vetro? I have at least 5 different 420 corals from Effetre - w/no dealer code - bought various times about 10 years ago.

I remember some of the Vetro corals (and other opaques) having a rougher surface, but not always the case.
There were a handful of stand-out corals but I think there were/are as many variations as there are fish in the sea. lol

I had corals from the early 2000s with a rough surface. Mine were labeled "Moretti" and went gray in the flame but returned to coral after gentle reheating.

Effettre/Moretti coral is definitely 420. Not sure about Vetrofond. An old color chart I found shows Vetrofond 420 as Rosehips.

I thought Vetrofond numbers start with 7 but the last 3 number are the same as the comparable Effetre color

That’s what I see from current sellers. But back in the day there were sellers that renumbered and renamed freely.

On closer inspection of old charts, the 420 Rosehips is a Vetrofond odd lot. There is also the usual 791420 Coral

Rose hips, the fruit, themselves are a orangey red, a bit redder than most corals but not a true red color.
