Default Glass magazines

Any suggestions about the best glass magazine to subscribe to??
I prefer more How To articles, rather than just artist profiles.

Hmmmm, I'd probably vote for "The Flow" -- always up close & personal to the glass community and actually founded & created by fellow glass artists! Best info for the $$$, imho.

Good luck!

I find The Flow to be mainly geared to boro work. If you're a 'soft glass' user, I can't think of a better way to spend $5 a month than "The Soda Lime Times", published electronically by Diane Woodall. Lots of 'how to's' in every issue.

The Soda Lime Times is an excellent value with lots of how-to's and artist profiles. You can't beat the price and it's a high quality e-zine.

I had a subscription to The Flow. It was a great magazine. Glass Line Magazine is supposed to be good. For 'beginners', I would recommend The Soda Lime Times. Your best "how to" resource can sometimes be found right here in the tutorial sections. There are freebies along with links of where to buy specific tutorials. Also, there is a wealth of info in the tips, techniques and questions forum here.

I get "The Flow" and "Glass Line" and have been very satisfied with both. I am often challenged by the 'how tos' and inspired by the talented artists featured.

My suggestion is for The Soda Lime Times. Diane puts together an awesome publication with truck loads of information and how-to's. Well worth the subscription price! One of the things I love about it is that it is for soft glass workers.

Hands down I vote The Flow! They have great tutorials in both soft glass and boro. I haven't noticed they cater more to boro at all. They are the best IMHO.
