I'm a teacher and am making Christmas gifts (just small things for my fellow teacher's on my team) The women are easy to do but does anyone have a suggestion for items for men? I was thinking of a tie clips and so on but dont know if someone makes a clip that I could just thread some beads on! Does anyone know of any suggestions.. Im all taped out..

It might be trite, but sometimes, a well-made keychain is cool.... You can easily get split rings or any number of clippy things for that.

Zipper pulls, wine stopper, bottle opener, wine glass charms, gear shift knob, and like Mary said, key chain. Most of my key chains made of coe 104 break on me, I would expect boro would last longer.

If any of them like to read you always do a few bookmarks. Also try www.karenthomas.us as she has lots of beadable items. I was going to suggest the wooden pens but unfortunately she has discontinued. I like the wood one as to me they had more warmth and weighed a lot less than the metal one. Maybe a letter opener?

Here's a thread on making push pins:

Or you could make a bunch of cabs and epoxy them onto magnets.

Cufflinks are always a hit with the dapper dressers.

I finally figured out that the ultimate man bead looks like a glass mug full of beer with a nice head of foam. I found the tutorial somewhere on this database. I made one and my husband asked for more. He actually has a charm bracelet full of them now -- stout, pale ale, wheat beer, etc. I've used ever shade of amber I have.

Do you wear name badges? How about a lanyard in manly colors.
