I've been looking at Frantz's website. Its listed in the Vetrofond Oddly Odd section.

http://www.frantzartglass.com/index....ath=79_193_244

ETA: The picture from Frantz's website shows a lot more blue in the Jungle Twilight...

Mike likes tempting us with anything he can find.

There's a Vetro Odd called Blue Ivory Transparent I just found, it looks like a transparent denim blue, quite lovely. I'm wondering where the Ivory in the name came from.

I just ordered:

1/2 pound Moss Agate Pale (Odd)
1/2 pound Red Medium (Special)
1/4 pound Cosmic Storm (Oddly Odd)
1/4 pound Jungle Twilight (Oddly Odd)
1/4 pound Lichen Dark (Oddly Odd)

I am really liking Vetrofond. This is the second order of glass I place in a week!

Well dang it Reenie! I would have spread the wealth a little if I had known that! Here I was thinking this was something special, and they've been around for ever!

I'm going to go check out your store again.... you know, for more "retail therapy."

FYI, "special" colors just means the red/orange/yellow/brown group, not a limited edition. Except for corals, because they just make a different batch whenever they get bored of those.

Seriously! I think after they finish making coral, they make a few more colors, then a month or so goes by and they say "Oh! I know! How about CORAL! It's been SO long since we made coral!! But THIS time, let's make a totally different coral. This time let's make peachy orangish pinkish coral instead of peachy pinkish orangey coral!"

I think I have about 437 versions of coral... give or take a few.

lol. This week's coral is orangy peachy pink... and a reddish peachy pink, to get you just shy of 440 corals

And every single one of them is a precious, precious gift

I still long for a transparent coral, in just about any of the 437 shades.

There's an odd with Ivory and Blue in the name? How did I miss that?

Y'all sound like you need intervention... I can just picture y'all clasping the pinky orangish red coral glass rod's, wide eyed with bushy hair, and breath for days, refusing help from the GA group.... (Glass Anonymous...) LOL

I have some of the blue ivory transparent... it's a nice transparent blue, but not sure where they got the "ivory" part?? I guess it's sort of a warmer blue, like adding a light blue and a pale, pale transparent light ivory. It's pretty.

This looks a lot like the Mighty Azurity that I bought from Deonne about a year ago.

I love blue ivory! I got some at a gathering a couple years ago and fell in love with the smokey blue color. I found a pound at Phoenix Art supplies a while ago and then I just saw it on the Frantz website and ordered 2 lbs. I love the stuff.

I wasn't overly impressed with the odd lots of the lichen, jungle twilight and moss agate, but I'm really interested to see if the oddly odds are any different. I have tons and tons of Vetro odds, I really should sort and sell!

I must be really out of the loop... WTF are "Oddly Odds"?
Aren't these the exact same odd lots Vetro made in late '07? Don't tell me they actually made MORE of those colors.
