Default Torch info

Does anyone have any recommendations on a torch that is a little stronger than a mini cc. Starting to do more sculptural work with soft glass and need a little more power. I have a 10 and 2 fives and hope to not have to purchase any more concentrators. Thanks for any help.

Hi there I went up to a lynx and I love it. Apart from being bigger you can also do very fine work 😀

Those concentrators will run a GTT Phantom easy.

Deena,

I have a GTT Bobcat. Roughly the same size as a Mini CC but much more efficient. It runs great on two 5lpm concentrators. If you want to come up some time you can try it out.

I have a Phantom as my main torch, but it would take more concentrators. I have tried it on 4 5lpm machines and it ran sort of, but not very well. Center fire was okay. But the outer fire was pretty weak.

You're welcome to come by the shop and try my custom Carlisle. It has a three port centerfire and a 14 port outer fire and will run on the concentrator array you have.
