Question Wanna see what I've been up to?

http://www.vimeo.com/11714239

and

http://www.vimeo.com/11696895

Just two short trailers... I welcome your feedback... I think I've finally dialed it in to where I'm happy with the view. you can see what's going on inside the flame better than any video I've seen... it's taken a long time and a lot of trial and error to get here. The DVD will be available in June... much love and many thanks for all your patience.

From what I can see the video looks promissing. Very clear and close enough to absorb what is going on.

Hey, Brent! Very nice! Your hard work has paid off. It has a very professional look about it. I love that the camera is stationary from each of it's angles..... I am very sensitive to vertigo reaction to hand held video, and yours are clearly not hand held and spot on PERFECTO !

Looking foward to when you put your full DVD out!

I prefer the stationary angle too because moving cameras make me dizzy. Very clear, very nice! I've been wanting one of your DVDs.

I like the black backdrop on the table, makes the work much more visible IMHO. Nice job!

Very good, but my attention keeps wandering off wondering what the bead chain is all about as it stretched across the picture....

Very nice Brent. My wife just ordered your book for my Birthday today. The video is very clear. What I don't understand is how you can work on that clean of a desk LOL. I remember seeing it in earlier video's. I can't imagine seeing my desk that clean. Great work again. Good luck with the sales.

What they said... Long videos are great for learning, but I love snippet videos for the enjoyment factor. Great job.

Safety... I don't bolt my torch down and it keeps it on the table. I often pick up my torch and use it as a hand torch... or rotate it a bit to get a better angle. This just keeps it where it belongs and not in my lap, without limiting it's useful mobility.

The 1st DVD was awesome... (Just had to say that) ... "You got to laugh ". That cracked me up!

On that note:

Great job on the camera angles. They appear to be higher and more "over the shoulder" on both sides this time. A+ Change

Also if possible... It would be good to hear your voice more. More explanation about... say... how you are controlling the heat (at that moment) , how you have the flame adjusted while you are working on that particular piece, etc. I think for a lot of people there may be some boro beginners that may find things that we “automatically” know from working on boro for a while very helpful!

Great video quality. Clean and crisp with the light flares from the glass no effecting the image quality.

I can't wait to see the end product or more teasers!

--Mike

Editied to add:

You CLEANED UP again for this video! It must take you more time to clean than to make the video!

Looks really nice. Great clarity. I think any lampworker will get a great idea of what you are doing so they can do it well.

Thanks Christina...

and Mace, it's a delicate balance between talking too much and not enough. I'm going to use words on the screen more for things that don't need to be said, like what color rod I'm using... and do the talking when something really needs to be explained. The scenes are all shot and loaded to the computer... now the editing begins. I hope to have that done by next Wednesday... preorders will be taken once it's been sent off for duplication...
