buttons
I want to spend time making some buttons, but I am also wondering if they sell and also where there would be a market for them. Any opinions out there? Thanks

Hi, I sell alot of buttons. Usually someone will buy several at a time then none for a while. They are my fave to make tho so I make them alot. I sell them on etsy. I'm always saying I'm going to go to a shop with them but never do.
I say if you enjoy making them then do it, you will always find someone that will love them!!

Yarn stores too. Make them big and unique or in sets of at least 3.

They also work well for hand made bags and totes.
There is a tutorial around for makeing you own button mandrel somewhere.

If you sell them at yarn stores, make sure the holes are big enough for big yarn needles...

The button mandrels that I have are small in diameter, and difficult to remove the button from. Is there other mandrels? I have the two tine fork like ones and the one that you can remove the little individual pieces from.
