Default Frit on a stick question

Do folks have the same problems using Devardi boro as they do w/COE 104?

Just curious, not trying to start a flame war. DD does boro & don't want to give her something that will just aggravate her.

Personally I wouldn't even try it. The Chinese colors I've tried are nice. Cobalt, amber, & green trans. Inexpensive and I haven't had any issues. Some people hate the black, it's OK for me. I haven't purchased the white in a long time, had some issues with it.

Very true. lol Mountain Glass has some fun stuff on their Reserve Batch page. I just got a couple of the CFL/natural light color changers today. Too bad I won't be able to torch for awhile. Sigh.

I've been a fan of the consistent good quality from Glass Alchemy. I haven't purchased from the them recently (teaching is taking up all my time right now) but for 10 years I have gotten great top quality glass from GA. I think they have a rod sampler, or at least they used to.

You pretty much get what you pay for in this industry. I use Northstar, GA, and TAG color. TAG has the best sparkles

I like Momka glass too! Momka, Northstar and GA are also great for color. There are smaller companies but the big 3 are my go to glass. All are made in the USA! ooops, forgot TAG!

I have a lot of cheap color sitting in my shop and none of it is being used. Lesson learned about going as cheap as possible.
