Is it sharp? Does it feel glass-like?

No, it does not feel sharp. I don't believe it's glass.

Ah yes! I suppose if I had been invested I would have followed up on your educated guess dicrodi!!! YAY for Eileen for being such a good little investigator. Consequently, she inherited most of it for a nominal fee

It sure looks like it to me. I'm going to experiment with it to verify

I still don't understand exactly what it is - perhaps I need to have the sound on on the video.

Oh yeah - hide glue glass. It's interesting looking stuff; see it a lot in fancy old front doors or offices. Looks kind of feathery.

I'd have loved to have been a fly on the wall when you tried to flame it - just to see your face. Pheeew!

Glad I could amuse you, if only through your imagination! LOL! Actually, it was a funny smell but it didn't gross me out.

I had no idea that was how glue chip glass was made. Interesting.

That stuff really smells! FYI, double glue chip glass is regular glue chip that had too many diverse patches in it the first go round, so they couldn't sell it. Do it again and charge more!
