Default SS Minnow Flame?

My minnow flame has regular cones around the outside and the inside cone looks to be more oxidizing? It sticks out farther than the others and has more of a white color. I'm on 2 oxycons-don't have this with the mini cc or a Nortel Major Plus? Anyone out there with a minnow care to share their flame appearance with me?

No, blue would be oxidizing. White or yellow would be reducing. This seems to be a fairly common occurance with Bethlehem torches (particularly the Piranha and the Betta).

If the center candle is excessively long, call the manufacturer. A single candle that cannot be cleaned up can make the flame a reduction flame - whether you want one or not.

Mine has the center one a little longer but looks just like the others in flame quality.
I agree, great torch.
