Geoffery, it is beautiful glass. A VERY intense deep purple giving beautiful color right in the torch without kiln striking. Sometimes it is so intense that I do a few different things to insure I cut the color a bit. If it is too dark for you at first, private message me and I will give you some suggestions on working it.

the orange is a little tricky.
short answer Northstar Lava Orange - but i found lava get a little transparent when it thin in the implosion. i know Asian white stay opaque.
So here is the tip: i wanted it to stay solid all the way to the bottom of the petal so how i did that was first lay my lava stringer line heat them in flat. then put a very thin line of Asian white about half as thick as the Orange down the middle of the orange making sure not to touch the clear on either side of the orange.

Hi Otter, I am on the Northern Oregon coast in Seaside and John Clark's studio is about 5 minutes away. He is the only artist that I am familiar with here but there are quite a few in Astoria and Cannon Beach.
