Hi all,

Thank you for your support. I listed more on the Etsy site this morning. I'll try to be better about it. I hope that those who have purchased one are having fun with it.

Michael, this is a most excellent tutorial! I learned a couple things just by briefly skimming though it...now if the weather would just cooperate I'll get out to the torch and give it a spin! Thanks so much for offering up your tutorial!

Oh WOW! This tutorial looks so easy to follow. I love it. I wish I was home instead of at work. I will not be able to get anything else done today now that I have looked at it.

The tutorial is wonderful! Now, I remember what my notes said! It's so wonderful having the photos too!

Michael, I can't find the new tools on Arrowsprings web site. I hate the phone. Is there any chance you can give them a nudge to put them on there?

Are there special tools needed for this tutorial?

Hi all,
I emailed Craig at Arrowsprings last week about making more of the tools. I haven't heard back from him yet. I'll give him a call later and will let you know what he says.

Krissa - The tools that Mary Beth is asking about are not required to make the bead. It's just something new that Craig made for me to try. The only 'special' tool, if you want to call it that, is a razor tool. The rest of the tools are just things that you would normally use to make your beads.

Thanks, Michael! The new tools look really nice and they produce nice variations on your technique.

Wow, this is one of the best tutorials I have ever seen (and I have them almost all).

Fantastic pictures, easy to follow (at least I understand it). Clear list what colors to use and almost no extra tools. I just have made my first Baleen bead. It is now in the kiln and I can't wait to see it when it is ready.

I will post a picture here!

Thanks, Michael!!!

Wonderful tutorial! I made this 1" lentil using the techniques covered in it. That's not a crack running down the left side - I added a stripe of clear to give it enough bulk for the press, and it created an unfortunate seam in the design.

I think I'll be making a bunch more of these.

Thank you everybody. I heard from Craig at Arrowsprings and he said that he was going to have the custom cutting tools on his website today. I just checked and they're not up yet. You know Craig, 'today' is a loose term with him. Here's the link: http://www.arrowsprings.com/
Kerry, nice job on the bead. Keep it up.

Wow Michael, thanks so much. This will be so great, esp. after taking your class, it will bring it all back and much clearer than my notes could ever be.

Hi,
I'm really sorry about that. I've been running around to the bead shows in Tucson all day and didn't have a chance to check my computer. I just listed some more.
I'm looking forward to going to the Best Bead show and the Whole Bead show tomorrow. Then I'm heading home on thursday. I'll be teaching again at Frantz glass in a couple of weeks. They still have a spot open in the class if anyone is interested.

Thank you,

Michael
