here's a question for you...do you have someone that can rebuild these units? i have one...on it's last legs (but it's been on it's last for a year now...it's a workhorse) but instead of getting a new one, i'd like to rebuild this one.

or is there some sort of trade in value (think core charge when buying a new transmission)?

Default Homefill Rebuild.

Usually what goes wrong is the compressor. We can send you a new/rebuilt compressor if you can change it yourself which will save freight both ways. If so, we need the model and serial numbers.

Best Regards,

Robert

Can the home fill system be used to fill regular high pressure oxygen cylinders or just the smaller patient cannisters? What is a whip hose and how much do they cost?

Thanks,
Roger

Default They can fill full size tanks.

they can fill larger tanks but the larger the tank the longer it takes. Most people use two tanks to switch off while one is being filled.

Mike,

We can have yours rebuilt for less than the cost of a new one. Do you know what is wrong? Your old one will have some core value based on which version it is. Send me model and serial numbers and I can get back to you.
Best Regards, Robert

Roger, A whip hose is the high pressure hose that connects between the Homefill unit and your regulator on your oxygen tank. We recommend you use a 3,000 psi stainless steel hose. The price will run $150 plus depending on how many tanks are connected and how long the hose needs to be..

Robert;
Additional questions
Up to what pressure can tanks be filled? I assume there is some type of system to prevent overpressure ?

You have an external regulator that controls the pressure in the tank.
