Default Laucha Cocoa incompatible with?

The following combination is producing incompatibility cracks:

Hollow base of Effertre opaque green avocado or sage green
Effertre Dk Ivory frit (size 1)
Silver leaf
Sage or avocado dots
Laucha Cocoa over dots
Small SIS dots on some Cocoa dots

I know the Cocoa isn't playing nice with the rest, but which color is it fighting with? The initial chunk that falls out of the bead when it cracks is in the space between the Cocoa dots, but then the crack follows between a line of dots.

These are large hollows, so the walls are 1/8"-3/16" thick. The Cocoa gets melted into the top 1/16", which is much easier to tell since I now have a cross section of the bead.

I haven't used Cocoa in a while and can't remember what I shouldn't put it on. What are your thoughts on the problem?

That sounds like a lovely combo, sorry that happened!

I've heard there is a different annealing temp needed for Lauscha, what are you using for a schedule?

My money would be on the sage or avocado, I made a heap of tigers and dragon scales from noas instructions using cocoa and sis (dk ivory and foil) and never had any issues

I think you may be right about the sage/avocado being the culprit. I anneal at 960 and the second batch that cracked actually annealed for 6 hours because I thought I was going to continue to make more beads that day, so didn't advance the program for many hours.

I tried another with Lauscha Nuclear Brownie as the base and didn't use the ivory frit. It didn't crack! Although I don't think the combination is as nice, I think it will work for the necklace I am making.
