Default Origin Glass

Do any of you have experience with this glass? They contacted me and want me to test some of their colors, rods and frit.

What were the pros and the cons. Was it a good experience? Would you do it again? They said something about paying me, how does that work? Thanks for your attention to my questions.

I had to google Origin Glass, as I never heard of them. I only dabble in boro, so I'm sorry, I can't help you with this. Will wait for other answers.

Its powdered glass pressed and fused. I have only tried 4 colors of borobars but they worked just fine.

$25-$30 a pound for colored boro is a good price.

Thanks for the input. Yes, it is boro, and was surprised to see the little bars. I tried the purple, and am not impressed. I have a bunch of other commitments to accomplish before I can play. Appreciate your feedback.

I've always liked the white and pink boro bars.

I was able to do a bit of testing, seems like this is extremely stiff glass, is all boro like that? I also like the pink, will post some pics later.

Yes, compared to most soft glass, boro is very stiff.
