Default Strech wire

I have been using beading wire for my bracelets but I was asked if I could use that elastic material. Any Idea what it's called and where do you get it from.

Joann's or Michael's sell it. They have the regular round elastic probably in the sewing department and this stuff that is a thin clear elastic, might be called Stretch Magic, in the jewelry supply department. The thin stuff can easily be cut with glass beads so I'd opt for regular round elastic and tie and glue the ends. A bigger holed bead can be used where the tie is to cover it up.
