Default FtL error message kiln

my paragon kiln has given me an FtL / fired too long message. It was not getting up to heat. I think this happened once before and I reset the program but memory escapes me. Any suggestions?

What kind of kiln? I think if there are no troubleshooting tips for that, that I would contact the company.
I think most of them are pretty happy to help.

Maybe ask the makers for advice? http://www.paragonweb.com/Kiln_Guru.cfm

It looks like they are very helpful. This thread http://www.lampworketc.com/forums/ar.../t-224738.html might be of interest - it discusses loose connections rather than failed elements. Hope you fix it easily, so frustrating when the kiln plays up!

They are very, very helpful at Paragon. Susan was on the phone with me for an hour diagnosing an error message my kiln had.

Relays are so cheap I would just replace it and see if that works.

I did it a couple of years ago-Paragon walked me through the process.
