What is it with all these new colors!
Gee I haven't been making many beads...I lost Oliver a couple of month ago... and have been in a funk. But I did get some kronos and gaia...but then I come here for tips on gaia and see all these OTHER colors...and I don't know what they are or where you get them... honestly my stack of dust covered glass is obviously inadequate...
and someone tell me what color this is...
ok yes ...if I find beads that catch my attention on ebay, I save the picture to ask someone ...what the heck kind of glass is that?
so what is the rich burgundy? red...in this picture...that was one gorgeous set of beads let me tell you...!

I have only been out of it a couple of months and there seems to be a bloom of new glass and colors...
so please update me or direct me to threads that already have this in one place....thanks...
I have to tell you...in the last year...I think lampworking has taking a huge leap forward...it is exciting! and will be more so when I can get my hands on this glass too!

Could be; I have a Reichenbach that looks quite similar; it also looks like it could be that dark Vetrofond rubino that Hols was nice enough to gift me with a smidge of.

Looks like it might be the Vetrofond "rubino" odd lot you can get here: http://glasscraftinc.com/product/pro...m?part_id=8964 (no pics).

It does look kind of like the Vetrofond Rocky Rubino I got from Bill Thornton / Moretti & More.

Those are R4 reactive glass colors - similar to Doublehelix's gaia, kronos.
