I use the large size. Its about 17-inches in width and height and length. I use to have smaller than that and I dont like it. Just me tho.

Ellen I have a 24 inch square one. It seems to work best as a cat house. Maybe it's just my pics. LOL

I just ordered a 12 inch one from eBay. The 24 inch one is OK but it's just too big. I found a whole Elfa drawer set up that was in perfect condition in the alley. I've already got 2 but the tops are already full of stuff. With the 12 inch one, I'm going to set it up on the new one and just leave it out. I hate taking pics because I hate setting it all up and taking it down again.

I use shadow boxes that I made myself and yes I prefer leaving them up as well.

I'm using the one I made from Dales instructions, made of PVC. About 12 inches I think. Set up all the time. I cover it all with a sheet to keep the dust off.
It all depends on what you are taking pictures of, as far as what size to get.

Hi Ellen!
I use the 12" cube . .. but, I typically only photograph beads and small jewelry items so I really don't need a larger one.

my cat house ...errr.... um..... is 12". works perfectly for me for all beads and finished jewelry. This was taken early on right after I got it. I now have a nylon graduated (white to black) sweep for the backround that fits perfectly inside. The cat looks great against that color too LOL This photo is actually of my laundry hamper that I used for a long time BEFORE I got the real thing from Table Top Studios. Looking for a pic of that now.......

Thanks for posting the photos. The graduated background is nice to have. Those lights are nice too.
