Default What is the green stuff?

I found this beautiful bead on the Etsy store FlameOnGlass and I wonder what the green on the bead is? Here is a link directly to the bead.

I have been searching for green adventurine to buy. Does anyone have any ideas where to get it? Preferably in Europe but overseas is OK too.

Do you have a Reichenbach supplier near you? They make an aventurine green, R-59.

Oh, thats very sweet of you but I believe the shiping can be high. From Sweden to USA it is from 4 dollars and up depending on weight. The other way around I have no idea what it would cost.

I have, after long search, found aventurine over here. I found it in shops that sell fusing glass instead of lampwork glass shops where I was looking at first.

Thank you all for your help and sugestions.

You might be burning the copper so try working cooler (it has tiny flakes of copper and can't take a lot of heat from my experience).

^That was from 2012

I do know for any future readers, green goldstone/aventurine can be prone to be incompatible. Test first. There are many threads on it here and other forums.
