Red face How is the marble star bubble added?

I tried to add silver but the method is incorrect
Unable to add uniformity, marble looks dirty after it finishes
I failed many times.
How is this marble silver added?
Is it using silver chips? How is a very uniform addition done?
And it looks so clean
Seeking help
Thank you very much:微笑::微笑:

Are you sure it is silver? I don't see any fuming at all (maybe fuming is what you think looks dirty?).
I see a couple glints in there that might be crushed opal but it's hard to tell.

Yes Muses
The author of this marble says
Stars are not bubbles
It is pure silver particles

I wonder if they used silver sheet, encased and heated until it pulled into tiny balls of silver.

If you are inquiring about the millions of stars ... fine silver frit. Available through Devardi Glass and probably other vendors.

IF you mean the space rock in the middle. Not sure how to get a round, silver planet but Ron Bearer, Jr., had a really nice tutorial in an issue of the flow a couple years ago. ou might be able to buy the back issue or even just the tutorial.
