Japanese torch
I have a question. I purchased the new Tonbo-Dama Japanese Glass Beads that everyone was raving about after the Gathering. They have a torch that angles straight up with lots of surface area for the flame, and it has a ring thing that fits around it with a flat lip that they apparently use to warm things (and maybe even fuse a little because later on they show some fused twisties). Anyway, this is the NEATEST BOOK!!!, but does anyone know anything about this torch? Is it something that we could get here etc. etc Thanks

Seek out "Dogmaw", she is a dealer in Satake glass (Japanese) I believe she may have information on the torch you want info on.... I remember seeing/reading about it a bit and it is a propane/air torch that uses a blower to supply air pressure to torch if I remember properly...

I would definitely ask Jo/Dogma first but I know you can order the torch through this site as well:

You can get one of those torches, but keep in mind that it really only gets hot enough to work Satake. And by the time you get it shipped here it is about $500. You can use a hot head, minor, or other "regular" torch with Satake too.
