Default Hot Head flame problem

HELP PLEASE!!

Ok..... so, I've made beads with my Hot Head today and took a 2 hour break and then decided to sit down and start again but...... I turn the propane on, light it and the flame starts doing a "flame thower" affect. It calms down for like 2 seconds, then it surges again and starts the "flame thowing" thing again. What could possibly be going on? No kinks in the hose, all connections were tested for leaks and its not due to a breeze from my fan. It actually looks like I put the torch on FULL PROPANE.......Hmmm..

HELP PLEASE.... thanks bunches from the scaredy cat!! Sandy :0)

Is the temperature in your studio constant? I have difficulty with my torch when there are extreme temperature variations. Today I managed to burn beads that I haven't burnt in a long time...My tank was almost empty and my torch gave me fits all morning. No more torching until DH fills my tank.
