Default quick connect fittings

Can someone clue me in about quick connect fittings? I have 3 torches now (cricket, mini cc and smith little) and want to set up quick connects so I can easily swith them over. I'm thinking leaving a 2' hose tail on each torch and clicking into that will be the go. Questions

1. Can I use air hose fittings or do they have to be lpg/oxy specific?

2. Where can I buy them? I don't want to get 3 sets, I just want 1 set + extra male bits for the other 2 torches

Thanks, fiona

You need the ones for torches. I've never seen just the male ends for sale, I've always seen them in complete sets.

found a supplier (ToolDex) that sells extra bits and ships to Oz, posting item numbers below for anyone who needs them in future. I went with Western, hose to hose fittings

qdb205 = male gas
qdb201 = female gas
qdb105 = male oxy
qdb101 = female oxy

qdb21 = 205 + 201
qdb22 = 105 + 101

qdb20 = qdb21 + qdb22 (full set)

also found an online store called bettymills.com who sell individual pieces and are v.cheap but don't ship to Oz ....
