I buy it by the 1 ounce bar, it last a very long time, You just bite off a sliver, with wire cutters, put in a marble mold or on a marver and pick it up with a white hot punty and its ready to fume with.

Do please make sure that you have really really good ventilation when you fume.
Metal fumes, whether its gold, silver or anything else, getting in to your body through your lungs can make you very sick very quickly and the medical fix is long, hard and often impossible.

actually silver fumes are one of the least dangerous of the fumes we create when melting boro. melting a rod of cad red lets off more dangerous gas than silver fuming.
