Default Raked dot bead tutorial

Okay, here is my first debut tutorial! I hope you all have fun making these beads! Please post beads you have made using this tutorial - I would love to see them!

The cost of this tutorial is $10.00 CANADIAN.

For purchase of this tutorial, go to PAYPAL, make the payment for the tutorial and I will then email you the tutorial.

My account on PAYPAL is woof_quiring@sasktel.net

I will be up for the next hour TOPS, so whoever orders right away tonight (January 26, 2012), I will send off the tutorial before I go to bed. I do have a full-time job - but I will check my email first thing in the morning and again after work and again right before bedtime to send off the tutorials.

I want to thank everybody in advance for your interest in my beads and your purchase of the tutorial. I can be reached at Sandra Quiring on Facebook - and within the tutorial is my email address and phone number.

Ok.....never sent money to an account on paypal before soooo.....do I go to the "Send Money" tab and then type in your email address? Also, is that a double space between woof and quiring?

Frillygirl, yes, I beleive that is what you do. the "space" between woof and quiring is an under score. If you have any problems, just email and my husband will be checking periodically this evening and will be sending the tutorial out this evening and through the weekend. I am away for the weekend doing wedding stuff with my daughter

Cheryl, thanks! Hope it is easy enough to follow. I will be able to check lampworketc here periodically through the weekend with my daughter's laptop.

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND EVERYBODY - and thank you SO MUCH for the encouragement for me to make this tutorial.

Got mine. Thank you very much.
Wonderful tut. Well written, easy to understand, great photos. A wonderful buy. I can see so many color variations that could be made with this great tut.
Thank you for sharing Sandy.

I bought mine and received it the same day! Thank you, Sandy. I'm an ameture lampworker, and my second try at these was much improved from my first. I hope they will continue to get better.

The green and blue beads in the background are my first attempt. The colors are Effetre pea green and Lapis (dark?).

The beads in the foreground are my second attempt. The colors are light turquoise and purple red.

I haven't figured out how to get my raked glass to a point, yet. Any suggestions? These are seriously fun to make. I wish I could do them in black and white, but I only have the basic blacks, which will bleed.

Color suggestions, please??

Default Raked Dots Tut

I got the tut and it is very well written and easy to follow. Not so easy to make the beads getting everything even etc. But fun to play. Here is a set that I plan to make into a beaded bracelet soon

The color is actually Effetre new Marichino red. Very pretty with the white.
I know the white made it more difficult as it melts so quickly, but I love these. Dianne

I have a few more to get photos of, will post soon.

Very pretty, Diane! They look pink on my computer... Are they? I'll bet it was a challenge to make these with a white base. Great job!
