hi, thanks for the comments on the slides, those pipes are crazy loco.
Dave, I'd love to see top down shots of those paperweights, that flower implo is so symmetrical, it really shows off your control of the medium.

Bunyip, the leopard one ran off as soon as it was out of the kiln, but when I get the time to make some more leopard spot murrini, I'll be making another one for sure. For this one I used up some leopard spot murrini I had lying around in my studio ... everyone should have leopard spot murrini lying around in their studio imho

I bit the bullet and submitted an entry to the flametree comp just before. Whether they will admit it to the contest is another question .... let's see I had a lot of fun making them

"BAH HUMBUG" (2010)
Bah Humbug, there will be no Christmas this year, Rudolf is in revolt, sick of pulling that darn sleigh and homicidal from all the Christmas carols playing over and over and over in Santa's workshop. "Enough is enough!" he cries and with his trusty Tommy gun peppers Santa full of hot lead ... the elves are next!

Deb, thanks so much.
Wicked, those are too cool. Thanks a lot for the compliments. I'm just a beginner here, so that means a lot to me. I didn't want to take up too much space, so I didn't post the top shots. But, if you want to see them, here they are. Sorry the pics are not the best in the world.

Default Opal Galaxy Pendant

I haven't posted any pics for a long time, so I thought I would now. These have become one of my signature pieces over the last couple of years, and unfortunately the large opals spheres are no longer available.

Cosmo, Love that last one!

I made a couple implosions but neither is worth posting here, gave the one to my daughter...used the wrong glass on it, thought it was blue but was green instead.
The other one came out just fine but the colors are all basically cream. Guess there wasn't enough AP in the twistie.

Did 2 ornaments too, the first I love, will post pics later. The second morphed into an urn instead. Going to try the ornaments in soft glass today.

Default Happy Holidaze

I've been stuck in my lab (got home at 2am this morning) with some plasma. It's funny, because I think time shrinks when the plasma is on, haha. This piece isn't finished as yet, but here asre some shots to give you an idea of how it looks now. It will be displayed at a steampunk themed New Year's Eve celebration and exhibition called Euchronia.

I wish you all Happy and Safe Holidays!

Cheers
Chris
