Has anyone managed to make these in soft glass? They look great but I can see them exploding from lack of heat at the thick end if not in boro. I don't think my little torch would cope!

I've made icicles in soft glass, although I usually make them by splatting into a paddle shape then pulling/twisting. A few have even survived even though I don't have a kiln.

You will need to brush back over the thicker parts occasionally as you work.
