Default Need some marble stands...

Anyone have a good source? I used to buy them from a guy on Ebay, but he doesn't have them any more. I e-mailed him and he said to send him a check because he can't take PayPal any more, which sounds too risky to me.

I'm looking for some of the round black plastic stands. I need probably 40-50 of them for a show next weekend.

Any suggestions?

I make my own. Just melt a gather on an 18mm rod, mash it flat (like a maria), heat the center of the maria, push it in with dapping thingy, punty up, melt off the rod and smooth the back. Quick, easy, and super cheap!

The problem is that glass on glass will cause scratches...

Could be, but usually when someone sells a lot on ebay and then they get rid of their PayPal account it's because of multiple complaints against them.

If they don't have to be black, these rings look to be a pretty good price.

I have purschased from the same guy (tsiminak) for years and I plan to order some more from him as well next week. He still has a very good rating on ebay, but said that he has gotten fed up with dealing with ebay, paypal, and all the red tape of using them. So, now he isn't selling much online, just listing a few items so people can find him.

I use brass finishing washers. (not flat washers) They aren't black but are cheap and classy brass finish.
