Semi Homemade large or small Murrini chopper
Here is something I have been thinking about for a while. I was going to buy a arbor press from harbor Freight but, this commercial grommet machine popped up on craigslist in the FREE section and I was lucky enough to be the first caller!
I made some dies with angle iron and high impact carbide and viola!
A murrini chopper with a FOOT PEDAL! It works pretty good and saves the hands from cutting massive amounts of large or small murrini.
Oh ya, by the way Cynthia, tell Vince that I know its crude but, I don't have a machine shop in my garage like He does. You're pretty lucky to have that luxury.

Ok Mike. You better have someone video you while your chopping away and post it on YouTube. That way we can see it in action. It looks wonderful.

That's an idea! I'll get together some pics and send them to you. Should I send them to your email, or post them here? (I probably won't get to this until later this week though!)
I'd appreciate your help!

Thats awesome. i was just looking at a very simuler press for converting to a glass press. For some one that wants a foot operated one.
cept I dint know how to procure more of them presses.
I like to be able to repeat good results and I would of hated to of made some one a one of a kind thing that others would of wanted but not been able to get. NOW I know what the press is called might make that easier.
