I know Bullseye sells soft stringer. Most people I know make their own. One of many videos on YouTube. https://youtu.be/uAID3vAnNRQ?si=Lb-CbaMTuviuGEIc

The only boro color maker that pulls stringers is Northstar, and they are only available directly from them, not through distributors. color selection and availability are very limited, they only pull stringers when they are otherwise slow, as it is done manually vs. machine pulled like their normal rod.

They are listed in the "Abe's Vault" section of the website: https://northstarglass.com/product-category/abes-vault/

Boro stringers are not as available as the rod. The best approach is to learn to pull your own consistently. I would say that an hour or two spent doing only stringer pulls would get you better very quickly and leave you with a big pile of stringers for later use.

I can pull stringer, but they are not so consistently
I'd like to have. So I really have to spent the time to learn.

Yes, it can be challenging to become consistent but there's only one way.
Hours = Powers.
I checked out Abe's vault too and most are sold out. The ones that aren't are only available in whole pounds. Seemed hard to justify for me but maybe you can make it work.

They do the stringers in half pound increments. I buy them to use in making vac-stack lined tubing. The 20% upcharge they put on them from the normal 7mm rods is absolutely worth the time it saves me pulling stringers for that.
