Default Hearts

These were made based on the off-mandrel heart tutorial in the June Soda Lime Times. They are fun, fast and easy. So far, I have made more than 50. Once it hits 100, I will be sending them in.

The glass is BE amber transparent or carnelian. The frit came from ThatFritGirl. It is called Autumn Blend (something like that). It is a mid of brown amber, clear gold and a glittery looking dark gold. It reacted with the glass and turned a sea greenish color. It looks better in real life. I was not expecting the color reaction. I also got the reaction using CiM Maple. The Frit also reacted with some French vanilla. This was not my initial plan for the frit, but I am glad I tried it.

You can use the 104s. The CiM Maple. The ivories should give you the color reactions. Some of the hearts were made with BE And some with 104 colors. There is something aboutt the transparents and how it flows that I think made for prettier hearts.

The Frit is actually Magic Gold Fire from ThatFritGirl. It is in the Iron Mountain Blend Faux Boro series. It is 96 COE.
