Compatibility cracks
So, I made some ssl beads that were Vetro white encased with several shades of transparent greens, then a bit of silver foil and a little bit of silver green frit. I looked at them today and they are beginning to crack. I will try to take a pic tomorrow but I'm wondering if this rings any bells to anyone? Thanks.

My thoughts are that the silver green frit already being incompatible with the 104 Vetrofond was pushed over the top by encasing it all. Same thing happened to me using and Effetre blue and silver blue frit. When I left it just lying in surface all was good. Once I encased it, cracks everywhere.

Silver green cracked when I tried to encase it with 104 also.

Sorry...ssl is straight sided lentils like Judith said. I included that because I thought maybe the pressing played a role. The frit and the foil were on the surface of the beads and I didn't use very much.

Thanks, I should have been able to figure that out, was thinking glass I guess. (My mind when to SIS, then couldn't make the leap to shape evidently.)
