Compatibility confusion
I've read here that Reichenbach 96 COE glass can be blended with Effetre glass without problems stemming from incompatibility because of its lead content, but the OCR folks state on their website that the Reichenbach needs to be on TOP of the Effetre, and compose no more than 20% of the total bead (the well known 20% rule), as in using it for frit of thin stringer only. Thoughts? Personal experiences?
Thanks!

You can't "blend" 96 and 104 but you can use 96 frit & stringer on top of 104. Reichenbach color is very dense, so even using a little can look like a lot so that may be why some people think you can blend it. Also, the rule is 5%, not 20%.
(By "blending", I mean mixing, like when you mix a custom color. You can still do swirls, etc, provided you stick with the 5% rule.)

Yes - i've played with Reichenbach before, and have been plenty inspired by that great thread.
