Dragonfly glassworks frit
I got a chance to play with my new frit samples today. Does anyone know if the Caramel Rose plays nicely with ivory, or does it just turn nasty? I put it over Vetrofond seashell swirl just in case it didn't. And I think it would look fabulous on very pale amber.

Ivory reacts to the silver in the frit. Been there, tried that.

Almost *nothing* ~96 coe in frit will "play nice" with ivory (you can do small test beads, there are a *few*, Amber/*Naos* has a way of making Raku work with ivory, but seriously, 104 ivory & ~96 frits are not friends under most basic circumstances)

LOL! That is sort of what I thought, and since I only got a sample and won't be able to buy more for a long while, I decided I'd double check before I wasted it on ivory. I couldn't determine if it was reactive or not. Thanks for the tip; I'll keep that in mind.

It's the pinks in the Caramel Rose that react with Italian ivory. But if you like the combo, there is a CiM Butter Pecan Unique that is ivory in color but not reactive.
Try the Caramel Rose on pale pink and lavender, transparent or pastel, it's lovely. It's also nice on Reichenbach 104 or Devardi caramel and butterscotch.
